More Letters

So September is one of my busiest months at work. June is another one. April and January are also a bit busy too, but I think Sept and June win for busiest. Why am I telling you all this? Because I'm trying to explain why I have not been blogging lately. So to make up for lost time, I'm bringing back my "letters." It should give you a glimpse into recent events.

Dear Painters,
What is the deal with you? Why do some of you charge literally over twice as much as others if you all are telling me you're using the same paint? Do painter A paint better than Painter B so he can charge twice as much?

Dear Contractors,
I am about ready to group you with mechanics. If you give me an estimate, the total should be close to that estimate. I learned an estimate is "an educated guess" when I was a student. It should be close to your answer, not off by over $1000.

Dear Spiders/Flies/Moths/Other Bugs that Crowd Around my Exterior Light,
How do you always manage to sneak in during the 3 seconds I have the door open.

Dear Vaccuum,
Why did you have to break the same week I had to pay the contractor?

Dear Christopher Meloni?
Why are you leaving SVU? The show will not be the same without you.

Dear Young Friends,
Thank you for providing me with funny stories to tell.

Dear Neighborhood Landscapers,
Hurricane Irene has long since passed, when will you be picking up all the branches she left behind?

Dear Mother Nature,
Why do you have to go from high 80's to mid 60's? How about some 70's?

Dear The Band Perry,
Even though your song is really depressing, I really like it, perhaps too much as I actually sang along to it with the windows open. Those poor drivers who may have heard me when they drove by. Forgive me drivers for subjecting you to such horrid singing since I cannot carry a tune.

Dear Anyone,
What is the deal with Spongebob? Why do childre like him so much? It must be an age thing because I just don't get it. I've heard so much about him lately from kids and on the news.

Dear Seafood Fest,
You have such delicious food. Keep coming back and maybe next year, I'll finally remember to try the lobster quesadillas.

And on a more serious note, in honor of 9-11
Dear Firefighters, Police Officers, and Soliders,
Thank you for all you do to keep us safe.
