Day 1
So a friend of mine is doing this blog, 30 pictures in 30 days (not sure if that's the exact title, but that's the theme of it). She told me I should do one too. I like the idea so I'm going to give it a try. I guess you post 1 picture a day for 30 days (hence the 30 pics in 30 days) and you can write a caption if you want or just do the pic. Well, I decided this on Nov. 25th and it's all ready Nov. 27th so I'll be a little off on mine, but here, is the first one. Day 1--I enjoyed a glass of sangria with some friends as we celebrated my birthday.

Today's New Word Is...
Nothing like car expenses to get me blogging again. Seriously though, hello, I'm still around. I have randomly thought of blog topics over the past few months, but can't seem to find the time to sit down and write a blog. Thought about giving up all together, but have decided that instead I am going to try to blog weekly. We'll see if I succeed. In the mean time, since I mentioned the car, I learned a new car part today while getting my car inspected: ball joint. I've actually heard those words before, but had no idea what they did on a car 'til I got home and googled it (after eating a brownie b/c I was depressed about how much it cost to fix said loose ball joint, then got depressed about eating the brownie b/c I'm supposed to be eating healthier). So I think my credit card is going to be a little mad at me right now, but why spend money on Christmas presents or fixing a bad heater when you can spend it on ball joints? In case I don't blog again before Thursday, I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and I hope your cars are behaving! :)
Don't Sweat
Why don't aerobics instructors sweat? I'm serious! So a few months ago I started doing a Jilllian Michales DVD--definitely a good workout, but as I'm exercising away and yes, sweating, I realize neither Jillian nor the two ladies working out with her are sweating. Additionally, they never drink water during the whole work out. Now, I bet you're thinking, but that is TV, they can wipe the sweat away and edit it out, heck in this day in age, they can probably edit the sweat right off their foreheads. And as for the water, they can edit out water breaks. Okay, I'll grant you that, but I also take aerobics classes at the gym and my instructors never seem to sweat or stop for water and they are working out the whole time. I just don't get it. Do they have special genes? When you train to be an aerobics instructor, do they teach you not to sweat or drink water? Weird.
