Time to Go Home

After we left the mall, we did finally go back to our hotel.  We had vouchers for a free drink at a bar in the hotel so we went there.  The drinks were delicious, but it's a good thing we got one for free because they were $13.00!  Needless to say we only had one each!  Spent the rest of the afternoon (what little was left of it) checking out a few things in the hotel--remember the Vegas hotels/casinos are huge!  Later we had dinner at one of the buffets in our hotel--too much good food and then spent a little time in the casino--I mean we were in Vegas.  Didn't do too much damage, but had fun playing the slots for a little while.  Then sadly, it was time to go to bed and the next day we flew home.  If you ever want to feel old, get up for a 9am flight (had to catch airport shuttle at 7) and watch all the young people coming back from a night out.  So yeah, we were getting up as they were going to bed.  Wow!  Those days are long gone for me.  Anyway, we got home that evening and a couple of days later it was back to work and back to reality, but we had a great honeymoon.  And look it only took me a year and a month to write about it. Geeze!  Maybe I'll do a little better this year.
